The SORA KAN was named after the image of "the endless sky above the sky," as it is located on the highest point on the grounds of Suginoi Hotel and offers a spectacular view of the sky.

The guest rooms offer a sophisticated design for a relaxing stay, an open-air bath with a panoramic view from 250 meters above sea level, and a restaurant with a variety of dishes using local ingredients, all with a spectacular view of Beppu.

The rooms are designed to express the rich nature of Beppu's ocean and mountains, and feature large windows with magnificent views, creating a sense of freedom that only a resort can offer.

The rooms are available in three different theme colors.

The indoor bath with glass walls and sauna also offer an open-air view. The view of Beppu cityscape, Beppu Bay, Mt. Tsurumidake, and the steam rising from the Kannawa Hot Springs will give you an experience of Beppu that changes with the seasons and the time of day.

Buffet restaurant with terrace seating and a wide variety of dishes

A Western-style buffet restaurant featuring local ingredients from Oita, Kyushu. The open kitchen prepares a variety of menu items right in front of your eyes. Enjoy the chef's performance and freshly prepared dishes.

A wide variety of local delicacies, including sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese and Chinese dishes, will be available for your enjoyment.

A variety of desserts, such as "Mont Blanc" with rich marron cream, prepared by a patissier right in front of you, are available to excite Adults children.

[ To Guests with a Food Allergy]
At Beppu Onsen Suginoi Hotel we consider the safety of guests our top priority and refrain from preparing menus for guests with food allergies and labeling dishes with allergens.

Meals are mainly served buffet style, so various dishes are cooked with the same utensils in the same kitchens and there is the possibility that a very small quantity of an allergen may become mixed into foods served during the process of preparation and cooking.

Given the nature of buffets, guests share use of chopsticks, tongs, etc., and crockery and cutlery are washed in the same place in the same dishwashers, so it may not be possible to completely prevent the presence of allergens.

Please excuse us for asking for your understanding on these matters and for asking you to make the final decision about whether to eat a certain food.

If you have an allergy, you may bring in your own allergen-free foods (e.g., allergen-free food in pouches), cutlery, and crockery.
If you intend to bring these into a restaurant, etc., please let us know beforehand, when you make your reservation.

Lobby where art and Oita's culture blend together

The lobby, with its glass walls, overlooks Beppu Bay and the city. The wall surface connecting from the entrance is decorated with a 4-meter-high, 25-meter-long artwork Mr. Naoki Kusumi world-renowned plaster craftsman Mr. Naoki Kusumi welcoming guests.

The space is decorated with materials associated with the region, including a café lounge with walls decorated with Beppu stone (for a fee). In addition to the face-to-face front counter, an automatic Check-in machine will be installed for non-face-to-face Check-in.

SORANIWA the four seasons of Beppu add color to your stay.

In the garden, which changes its expression with the seasons, monuments of shiitake mushrooms, kabosu, and asagimadara, which are representative of Oita, have been installed to provide a relaxing place for visitors to experience the land of Beppu.
