Mixed bathing for children
The Oita Prefecture Public Bath Law Enforcement Ordinance was revised and the age limit for mixed bathing for men and women was lowered to "no mixed bathing for men and women over 7 years old" on January 1, 2022. Children may be brought to a bathhouse of the opposite sex up to the age of 6.
